Musicians of the Old Post Road invites energetic, imaginative, and organized music students to apply for our stipended Social Media and Marketing Intern position. Qualified applicants will have tech savvy experience on social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Our Intern will also help to reach out to college students with concert information through email blasts to our University/Colleges list.
Position can be worked remotely and requires approximately 5-6 hours weekly including a weekly half-hour online planning meeting with staff. This is an excellent experience-building and resume-building opportunity in arts administration.
Remuneration is $750 per semester; a two-semester commitment is required. (Sept-Dec. and Jan.-May)
Qualified applicants will have a background in music as well as tech savvy experience on social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Students residing in New England who may be able to attend concerts in person will be given preference, but geographical proximity is not a requirement. Interest and/or experience in historical performance is a plus.
